Your Bag's Story

im not sure if anyone is actually checking on my blog but no im not dead.

just...unmotivated in most sense. school is not going too well. just one module actually. sigh.

to deal with that demoralizing module, i started a new project:

so initially i was going to write a story and needed an illustration of a bag with its contents. while drawing the contents, i realized that it was actually more interesting than the story and you've no idea how much i went "omg wtf do i bring this to school everyday? i dont even use it." hahaha. so, what does your bag and its contents say about you?

or maybe you just want a sketchy doodle of them for reasons idk but i would still love to doodle.

a semi-doodle with sketchy painting. so i bring my organizer, minimal stationary, phone, makeup, shades and perfume to school daily. then keys and cardholder and chargers too but it was getting too cluttered in the doodle. sadly, that is not my wallet but i do want that if i ever start using wallets.

different representation without color! i dont know why i feel the need to bring 2 lipsticks but i do. one in coral and one in pink because you just wont know when you need them do you? who knows, maybe your outfit changes midday or something. hahaha.

TUTORIAL: ASH AND PIKACHU CROSS STITCH

using a small scrap piece of cross stitch cloth, i was wondering if i can cannibalize any 8bit art into a piece of art for my growing wall deco. then i remembered my Pokemon Yellow and tadaaaa! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ seeing pikachu follow me around makes me really happy for some reason. true bromance/love. hahahaha.

in progress. rusty cross stitch skills = took 4 hours odd to complete

here is the pattern i made from Excel. left the numbers at the side so its less of a bitch to count etc. quite a small piece. i color coded the Black as Grey squares so that the lines show up better. not too sure about the exact numbers for the colors i used though since most of my embroidery threads are random bundles. hehh.

basically, colors needed:

Deep red

Blue

Pale Peach

Ivory/White

Yellow

Brown

Black

Deep green

the current wall which my messy desk faces. hung my keys at the door so i hopefully won't miss them as much. i realized i've not drawn for quite some time. hrmmm...

perfect red wooden frame.

while i was starving at home today, help came and whipped up this god damn delicious yummy poscsvbesfnqaggg pasta for me. #luckyluckylucky the bacon, the chicken, the mushrooms, the garlic. ohmytian. i even ate greens!!! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ thats HOW yummy it is.

TUTORIAL - SKYRIM TREASURE MAP

on the ever on-going quest to decorate my room, i've decided to make a skyrim treasure map! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

kind of blur/reflective. meh.

it is different from the actual map you get when finding treasures with slightly more details. and i love it on my wall. HAH.

started off with this muslin my mom had lying around, and the map from skyrim as reference! i wanted to put up the map but it was printed glossy and all, looking too pristine for a medieval map so i just left it in the box.

decided to do the area around Winterhold since my photoframe is only A4. and the College is there so yeap. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

traced the map out lightly in a 2B pencil and soaked it in coffee to darken it! wrong move. the coffee erased the pencil marks to oblivion. (HAH punny.) ohkay so uhm. coffee dye then drawing would be a genius move. i ended up redrawing most of it.

traced it over with a 0.3 ZIG. the pen catches on the muslin a lot but that gives the quilled-messy-uneven feel so yaye.

added colors. since i didnt have markers/color pencils and wanted something more, natural, i used powders. ie. eyeshadows from my broken palette. hahaha. have tonnes of browns lying about so i used a brush to pick up the pigments and press them into the muslin.

smudged and stuff.

after that i further snipped and burnt the edges since it was >A4. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

DONE.

one of the qualms i have is that it lacks details so it doesn't look as interesting/intriguing as i hoped. hrm. maybe i might do one on other materials that is easier to draw on.

ART PURGE 6

houses. i've always been fascinated by cute houses on hills. though i've never really seen any before since the area i stay in comprises of 99% cookie cutter high rises.

in my head, houses are like this. hehh. done purely in photoshop with my mouse.

semi-colored.

when you colored things in any color you wanted and not what they are. i remembered that when i was a kid i used to have these black and white photocopies of a same parrot which i will color many times in different colors. hahaha.

an attempt at quick sketching "real" houses. but i got this reference image off google. the proportions are off though. the amount of details in houses. i've never noticed them till now.

something is wrong

i feel drained mentally. and now that i'm ill, physically as well. my patience for incompetence is thin. doesn't help when people aren't cooperative nor serious. sigh.

since i was exhausted, i thought i would be uninspired. but i forced myself to doodle.

meh. well. it was therapeutic.

so i drew.

day of the dead is fascinating to me. more of the sugar skulls.

a quick doodle that i semi-processed with photoshop.

speaking of drawing, Draw Something is highly addictive. well, the words can get repetitive but seeing the things people draw for certain words is amusing. hahaha. different perspectives of different people. hehh. too bad i've retarded reflexes and by the time i'm done laughing, the image is gone and i can't screenshot. oh wells. but now nobody is really playing it anymore so i'm left with only 3 ongoing games. (T(ｴ)T)ﾉ plenty amusing nonetheless.

today, my priorities shifted really quickly. twice. it is rather freaky how fast my priorities change. there are always a few stagnant ones. just that the hierarchical order of them changes but nothing as fast as today.

it was all daisies in the field with me not suffering from hay fever, sunshine without the uv-rays, me with 100SPF skin, perfect hair day and all. but just one sentence and i was like...

PINUP FEVER

pinup is something i find really intriguing. the style, the confidence, everything. to me, they are the epitome of female beauty with their curves and seduction.

so i thought, why not draw some icons in pin up style!

TUTORIAL - PANDA

pandas are cute. and fat. fake pandas. not real ones. real ones look clumsy and yellow/dirty for some reason.

true, those in zoos give off the "aww look at me so cute and fat" vibes but its uhm. not very endearing to me. hahaha. (￣(ｴ)￣)ﾉ

freaking chair made from a clump of pandas. that looks rather obscene and uncomfy but PANDAS.
