The Factory

tonnes of new cafes and food places have been popping up at kovan like wild mushrooms. Lola Cafe has nice desserts but it gets boring after awhile. met fush and garrett for dinner at The Factory a few weeks back.

the menu was not very extensive and mostly just normal food with fries. the dips available were quite interesting though. there were curry, marmite and cheeses. i chose the marmite dip which i thought was the yummiest.

mushroom pasta with marmite dip. the pasta was boring. i got extremely sick of it after 3 mouthfuls. not a good choice at all. the fries with the marmite dip was awesome though.

finally meeting them after so long!

will be going back to black or darker colored hair soon. that thought alone is so depressing...

Habitat Coffee

school has been really hectic. all the crazy amount of assignments. i'm not even really studying. just doing assignments after assignments.

so this weekend i decided to take a break and go out with yun! got to a family dinner and then went habitat coffee. i was hoping habitat COFFEE would have great coffee. nope. not really.

waffles with salted caramel and rum&raisin ice cream. the waffles are not bad. but the ice cream was not awesome.

sharing amusing whatsapp messages from our moms. i went back to my old phone cover cause after breaking my previous one, i found out s2 was too old a model. every single shop was selling s3 or iphone 5 covers. wtf.

MOVING BACK

this semester's move back home was relatively painless. had 1 huge luggage of clothes, 1 medium luggage  of books, 1 duffel of electronics and a few bags of random clothes. still have to go grab my makeup and fragile stuff though. compared to last semester's 2 trips where the car was entirely filled!!! or maybe it was easy this semester cause i didn't do much of the shifting. HAH. packing was still tiring though.

moving back was a strange feeling this time round. the previous times, it wasn't anything since i knew i was going to be back after the holidays anyway. but this time, i would not be going back.i thought i would be sad, but somehow i felt quite neutral. guess it is cause i know i will still meet with the people who matters. dinners and all. also, with my busy schedule now, i think others will make better use of d504. be around more, contribute more too.

laruku songs were available. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ but obviously it is damn hard to sing and i cant read the lyrics fast enough. (T(ｴ)T)ﾉ went over to the chinese k after that. wahahaha. desmond and chervin's One Night in Beijing was fawesome.

my eyes tend to get 1 parallel and 1 tapered. i can't find a way to make them symmetrical. photowonder is the best android photo edit app ever. it is like, photoshop on the go. hahaha. i love the autumn filter. which is used in most of my photos. it desaturates without making me look like a ghost. wahaha. my hair is a teensy bit longer.

met bear and xj for ramen after that. loved it!!! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

tonight, i ticked something off my bucket list! something which in my wildest dreams i thought i wouldn't be able to. i went for my first jrock concert! and not just any, but LARUKU'S. i kind of thought that i would definitely have to go for a jrock concert, but for it to be laruku's, -tears-. (T(ｴ)T)ﾉ

seriously, i watched their 15th anniversary dvd like at least 10 times. (T(ｴ)T)ﾉ

seeing them LIVE, ahhhhhgawdddddd.

im glad i didn't buy the front seats. it was non-elevated so with my shortness sure get blocked! actually i was quite blocked even at my elevated seats, lucky the security made the people in front get off their chairs.  also, i would've combusted if i see him that close up! ♥♥♥

super cute bag!!! ♥ the towel was cute too but sold out. this bag is like the last piece. hee.

CRAVINGS SETTLED, FOR NOW

so i've been demanding to be fed icecream and all recently. might be the fact that i just needed to go out of campus and have a chillax night rather than the actual icecream. icecream just became a metaphor for it.

like "i want icecream!!!" --> "i need to go out of this godforsaken place!"

so i set off to Holland V for an impromptu night of pigging out with the manchurian prince. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ the circle line makes going there so fast and easy now. convenient++ when it doesn't break down. had Cold Rock instead of Island Creamery cause of the crowd but i loved the Hazelnut Indulgence. it was nutella(?), ferrero rocher etc. hahahaha. then i was thinking if anyone ate the bubblegum + gummi bear one, they would really puke rainbows. in a more gross manner.

so on a Non-judgemental Night of Noms, we went to starbucks after that for green tea latte! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ happiness++! its like everything i wanted to eat and all. hahahaha. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ this should be a fortnightly thing man.

sitting and nuahing = best hobby ever. hahahaha. something comforting about coffee, cakes and huge squishy sofas.

the drink i like most = green tea latte with soy milk + ice cubes. the warm version tastes like chlorophyll shots though. damn gross. it was when i felt really cold so i decided to have the hot one and fook. worse decision EVER. ヽ(´～`)

on another note, yaye bangs again! i got too tired of my fringe poking my eyes so i kinda chopped them off. and comparing this picture taken today and the one i took like months ago, my hair is damn stunted. i don't detect much growth to my hair. dafookery. not like i went to trim or cut or anything. only my fringe seems to grow. just so they can poke my eyes and antagonize me i'm pretty sure.  #girlProblems (T(ｴ)T)ﾉ

lao ban tauhuey is like the in thing now for fundraising? it used to be bubble tea last year. now tauhuey is all the rage. hmm. but who cares when it is welfare on a night that you feel like shit from meds and flu etc! ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

CATCH UP

maybe its old age. but i prefer chilling at someone's house, drinking, chatting, watching tv and playing xbox. somehow its more fulfilling. so we met at chenyang's house yesterday! got a little lost on the way there cause i decided to be adventurous and take another bus route. worst decision ever.

coffee baileys! coffee is the elixir of life. so we just sat around, bitching and catching up with some ghost movie in the background.

friends since primary school. hehh. best days of my life. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ drove past Rosyth after that and was hit with nostalgia. they are renovating the school compound now though. i miss the level 4 open parade square and the level 5 canteen. always had amazed me that our canteen was sky-high. i liked the spiral staircase a lot too. wonder if the walls i painted in the art room is still there though. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ the saddest part was when i realized that, my secondary and jc college campus seems so small in comparison to my primary school. perhaps its the perspective since i was younger then.

it was fine that my secondary school was not huge since the cohort isnt that huge, and we were so near town etc. i actually liked it there a lot. and the architecture was pretty and unique, not run of the mill school architecture.

 but then when i went to jc, daaammmnnnnn. vjc's campus is realllyyyyy small for a college. oh wells. not that i spent much time there anyway. i hated the fact that there was this LT's aircon which was always spoilt and there werent ventilation. and the worst part was most of my classes were in that particular LT. so imagine sitting in there for an hour odd with the many other students. ugh. bad memories to the max. i hope they've improved the facilities. oh wells. that is what you get when you are lazy and just choose the school your brothers' went to instead of making educated personal choices. if you are going to study, might as well choose a school with facilities to make life less miserable. or one that is nearer to home.

SEE PEOPLE, THE IMPORTANCE OF MAKING INFORMED AND EDUCATED CHOICES.

im a sucker for all things this pastel mint color so obviously i've got to use this controller. the only qualm i have for xbox controllers are that they are too damn big!!! i've to stretch my small hands so much to hit the A buttons while still using the others. (￣(ｴ)￣)ﾉ i like the playstation controllers more.

as the night gets later, the teams on halo gets more godlike. fml.
