GLASS BOTTLE

the thought of living in a glass bottle.

there is quite a bit on my mind these days. the dynamics of relationships, the stress from work, the returns on efforts.

it is week 13 and yet i am still rushing to meet deadlines. and these modules with crazy shit load of assignments end up with still kind of a large percentage for finals. after rushing to complete my assignments, normally i am too brain dead to really continue absorbing/revision. so i end up here typing rubbish or checking emails for work.

then again, i am too brain dead to reply coherently so i shall leave it tomorrow.

making mistakes at work now is just uncalled for. and reflects horridly too.

anyhows, a random thought occurred to me yesterday.

i feel like i am living in this glass bottle. sure it is not all smooth sailing, but my problems are not that huge. although i whine like fuck, i know that they are manageable and dude, seriously they are not that huge a deal. plus i have friends who put up with all my shit. hahaha. so while i am living a protected life, i know just how easily it can be smashed. this was always in the back of my head, but it keeps hounding me rather badly these few days.

i have this gut feeling that something catastrophic will happen soon and shatter this bottle. and i am not sure if i can deal with it. it is like peace waiting to be broken.

shall camp even more productively at com tomorrow. shockingly, it HAD been productive in the basement. managed to finish my cs2105 assignment. with help from the manchurian prince. hahaha. i attribute the productiveness to the fact that there is less human traffic milling pass so less distractions?

NUS OPEN HOUSE 2012 DAY 2

this is yummy organic chocolate from Conscious Chocolate. if you like dark chocolate, this is a must-try! it doesn't have the typical bitterness as it is sweet, yet this sweetness doesn't taste sugary. it is more reminiscent of honey! it really tastes different from other non-organic chocolates. also, this flavor is goji and coconut flakes. sounds like a strange combination but it provides added texture since the chocolate itself is very smooth. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

Day 2 waiting for them to pack up. with yijiajia, waitsun and jesmond's hand. Day 2 was less tiring, but my feet were dying. the ankles and flats of my feet. guess my shoes aren't padded enough. work is good but it took its toll on my health. normally i pay back my sleep debts for the week on weekends. so i didn't do it for the past few weekends and now i'm showing symptoms of flu. ugh.

school bag. it has the magical property of being compact yet it can fit my chargers, notebook, pencil box, makeup pouch, wallet, tissue, phone and huge ass textbooks.

life is a tad more interesting now. hehhh. although it's at unprecedented levels of academia frenzy and deadlines. the stress is negated by certain occurrences. though i think it will end badly. meh. uninspired to draw now too. sigh. this is not good.

i hope the flu goes away soon.

RANDOM UPDATES

being in hall = me not having much mood to blog. im perpetually asleep there. a little too much of sleep too. but with no classes for the first 3 days of school, i was really bored. ironically i fell sick after too much sleep. o(-`д´- ｡) even with all the vit c popping etc. bleh.

after the holidays, i slacked up on my routines. so i bought the HADA LABO set.! it has no fragrance etc which makes its great for me. been using the toner for quite awhile and it did moisturise so i bought the facial foam and lotion. the foam removes the oil from my makeup remover easily without stripping or making my face feel tight so yaye.

bought a new sketchbook in A4. doodling on first page now.

met yun for awhile after my first day of class. went to jurong point. hahaha. had cake at bakerzin and got a mini NYX haul.! got a lipcream, lipsticks and a blush/bronzer. idky a bronzer but i guess it makes me look like ghostly. the lipcream's texture is awesome. its less sticky than glosses, less oily than most lipsticks and its MATTE. awesome possume. not drying too.

bakerzin is like having a promo for lunch sets and tea time cake sets which are super worth it. a cake + a beverage for $8.90. #notbad.

chose a dark choco cake with berries soaked in wine. has some cream cheese layers too. shockingly it was too much and i didnt finish it. ヽ(￣(ｴ)￣)ﾉ

passion fruit soda that never ends.

had work yesterday.! as per usual, it felt more like playtime. was piecing together the foam squares together and they are so cute.!!!! i love the frog. hee. #childhoodrelieved.

then a balloon master came. TRAVIS. omg he is damn cool pls. hahaha. a jacket of +10 to balloon sculpting skillz. and he made this iPad game which was fawesome. saw the trailer video and i wish it can run on andriod. this young boy was testing it for him and the game looked so so so fun.
