A Merry Christmas

IT IS DECEMBERRR!!!

ive been handmaking cards for a long while for my friends and this year ive decided to go digital! since it is digital, it is not as personalized as i like but seeing the design in print does have a nice sort of satisfaction.

there are 4 designs in a set.

each card is A6, on 235gsm paper.

the back of the card is empty and comes with hand-decorated brown envelopes.

you can opt to collect the cards from me when we meet or i can mail it to you!

postage within singapore costs $1(for 12 cards) so yea, not a bad option compared to meeting me for a lengthy dinner. hahaha.

the cards are sold in multiples of 4 so you get one of each design. if for some reason you DETEST one of the designs, feel free to tell me so we can work something out. maybe you have a morbid fear of red carves idk.

Your Bag's Story

im not sure if anyone is actually checking on my blog but no im not dead.

just...unmotivated in most sense. school is not going too well. just one module actually. sigh.

to deal with that demoralizing module, i started a new project:

so initially i was going to write a story and needed an illustration of a bag with its contents. while drawing the contents, i realized that it was actually more interesting than the story and you've no idea how much i went "omg wtf do i bring this to school everyday? i dont even use it." hahaha. so, what does your bag and its contents say about you?

or maybe you just want a sketchy doodle of them for reasons idk but i would still love to doodle.

a semi-doodle with sketchy painting. so i bring my organizer, minimal stationary, phone, makeup, shades and perfume to school daily. then keys and cardholder and chargers too but it was getting too cluttered in the doodle. sadly, that is not my wallet but i do want that if i ever start using wallets.

different representation without color! i dont know why i feel the need to bring 2 lipsticks but i do. one in coral and one in pink because you just wont know when you need them do you? who knows, maybe your outfit changes midday or something. hahaha.

Fathers' Day card

i wont be home this Fathers' Day so i made a simple card in advance to fill in and post it back home.

my dad likes to say stuff such as "WHAT THE TOOT" instead of actual swearing when we were kids and i guess it just carried on now. though he does swear more openly these days in english and not hokkien which he thinks the kids, ie. us do not understand. though we did. i mean, who didnt right. especially swear words.

to use, download this image in it's original size and print on A4 card. the size of the card is actually A5 so that when printed, cut it out from the A4 card. fold it in half and it results in an A6 card.

Learning Blender in a crunch

while taking cs4342, to be honest i learnt everything about Blender from Youtube to complete my assignments. perhaps the teaching styles didn't match, but i didn't feel that labs were helpful at all.

so after prowling Youtube for hours to learn from scratch what Blender is and such, I have compiled a list of Youtube tutorials for Blender which i found were succinct and great! i can be impatient so these videos are mostly shorter than 20mins.

Blender also has a video editing function which is very easy to use with it's drag and drop function.

cs3343 ASSIGNMENT 2 BEHIND THE SCENES

GO VIEW NOW. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

we found a sunday to revamp the school's club room into a post apocalyptic weaponry shop. ive no photos of the area before revamp but its basically shelves of textbooks.

the ragtag high-end weapons and armour. we tried to be as detailed as possible with the decorations and limited limited time and resources. decorating the place was interesting, paying attention to all the tiny details that people might not even notice. we even hid Easter eggs in our 30s commercial assignment. hehh.

post-apocalyptic bounty princess leia from an alternative universe. the outfit was torn jeans and a bullet proof vest and bruises which are not seen from the angle. however, after editing and post-production, i appear for a grand total of 2 nanoseconds. hahaha. (￣(ｴ)￣)ﾉ

when i first bought this blue wig on a whim, everyone was like, whenever are you going to wear it. and i was adamant that i WILL find a practical use for it even if i dont cosplay. so i did.! it was useful in filming this assignment. hehh. its not merely a practical usage but an academic usage. booyaaa. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ

since singapore is highly urbanized with not much vast expanse of land where we can trespass freely, it was rather hard to find the setting for a post-apocalyptic world. we had a scene which required a dilapidated house and the only one i knew was the Matilda house.

it was a pity that when we went there, it was torn down and new construction was taking place. so we drove around punggol and stumbled upon this area which was more than ideal. ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ granted that while driving in the jungle we were ambushed by a wild boar that dashed across the road, it was fairly safe. although i wore slippers and almost slipped lots of time down the slopes. ooo punny.

the bunkers which looked very zombie-proof and withering old trees. also, maybe the gods of filming were with us but there was ample natural light AND clouds which add to our post-apocalyptic feel. heee.

boba me ヽ(*≧ω≦)ﾉ breathing in this mask is not something to be taken lightly. ugh. idk how rick managed to film in this in the singapore heat + leather jacket etc.
